This past year has been a big one for Anexis eSports e.V. We started off with a bit of inactivity in the first quarter of the year, but thing did bounce back and we were already witnessing the rise of our organisation. New website, new sponsors, new partners, new teams, new staff. I was truly honoured to be the new editor-in-chief in such a promising project.

The very beggining marked the start of the new era, our way to the stars and indeed it started to happen that way. So this should be a small peak into the Anexis year, the year that will be marked and remembered in our history. So we will see how did our teams venture throughout the year, proceeding with Counter Strike: Source

Finns, our lovely Finns. Since we decided to work our way up with new and fresh face and teams, we made a completely new Finnish force around the former 4kings player Samuel "God" Rasanen.  He gathered a respectable lineup with some big names like Ollimatti "delonge" Vehkalahti and Matias "matiasxoxo" Laajoki but apparently things did not click the way they are supposed to and they were forced to make new changes in order to achieve better chemistry in the roster.

Only God and reVicer were left from the core lineup so he came across with ex-Menace.fi player fAlsu, who proposed a merge with them. He hand-picked PIKSELI and HENE to join along but once again, something was wrong.

• ESPC #3 - 2nd
• ESH Buffalo Challenge - 2nd
• Dignitas Alienware Challenge - 2nd
• ZOWIE CS:S Challenge - 2nd
• i44 - 7/8th
• Cadred top10 rankings - 10th  

Many players joined, many players left, namely delonge, matiasxoxo, reVicer, zawahiR, VILZU, heku and more. This team finally could be the one that may cause some more problems. Motivation seems on the level, players are confident and we will see if this is the final click and will they manage to stay together. We surely hope that 2012 will be their year.

The team is currently competing in the elimination stage of ESL Major Series, where they are facing Copenhagen Wolves in their first match.
